Putting yourself on an island that takes 15 minutes to walk around, in a tropical area, with bright blue water and clean white sand is a good recipe for relaxation...but not necessarily a good recipe for photography. Limited wildlife opportunities and a round island makes shooting the "green" part of the island rather difficult. However, with the tropical ocean surrounding this jewel in the ocean, seascapes were the choice for this occasion. The days were bright and hot yet the sunsets and sunrises were dark and moody.
I only had the pleasure of spending four days on this idyllic location in the Maldives, but it was spectacular for every minute of it. Keeping it simple is sometimes the best way to go.
