The simplicity of the desert is surprisingly beautiful. Light plays tricks with light and dark; it reveals contours, imagery, scale and texture. It is a wonderful location for black and white photos.

These photographs represent a side of the UAE that too few see. Located in the furthest southeastern corner in the Abu Dhabi emirate lies an expansive desert landscape in stark contrast to the glitz and glamour of urban life. All visitors and residents should make the effort to see this side of the UAE - its natural beauty.
